Goth bands who seriously love their fans.
I want to hear all about goth bands/musicians who truly adore their fans and support the subculture in meaningful ways. Examples:
• Active on social media
• Have been interviewed in Morbid Outlook, Gothic Beauty, or other subcultural 'zines
• Know who Mick Mercer is
• Enjoy meeting DJs
• Show appreciation for their influences
• Show interest in the history of the subculture
• Support/are friends with other goth musicians
• Go on tour frequently
• Play at goth music festivals (big or small)
• Anything else that "gives back" to the subculture
• Deliver shows that go above and beyond. This is subjective. Maybe they hang out with fans afterward. Or they try to get everyone dancing their asses off. Or they're creative with their self-expression/public image, unafraid to stand out. It's not just "get up on stage, play the set, disappear. Wham, bam, thank you, ma'am."*
I'm a reserved introvert, so I can relate. I'm not trying to dunk on bands who are more subdued. I'm not saying they're unimportant or "less goth". Lots of musicians aren't as comfortable in the spotlight, which is okay! Maybe they're more active behind the scenes. Besides, performing *at all is a significant contribution. Very few goth musicians expect to become rich or wildly famous. Old joke: "Want to start a goth band? Prepare yourself for tens and tens of fans!"
I'm especially interested in bands active from 2010 onward. What tells you that they love their audience?

What’s Your Favorite Gothic Love Song?
I'm diving deep into the enchanting world of gothic music and I'm on the hunt for some beautifully dark love songs. Do you have any favorites that blend haunting melodies with romantic, melancholic lyrics? Whether it's a classic or a hidden gem, I'd love to hear your recommendations.

Any love for Swans?
I know they're mostly known as a post-rock act nowadays, but in the late eighties to early-to-mid nineties they were pushing out pretty cutting edge Gothic Rock with albums like Children of God, White Light From the Mouth of Infinity, and, of course, The Great Annihilator. The latter actually being one of my gateway albums into Gothic Rock as a whole.
In addition, their new album The Beggar has very gothic undertones beneath it, in fact one of the songs, "Los Angeles: City of Death" is just straight up Gothic Rock. "Ebbing" also has some Ethereal Wave stuff going on and "The Memorious" is again very gothy.
Anyways, what does this sub think of Swans? I don't hear them getting brought up much here.

We just released our debut album and would love to hear from you!
Hi everyone! Our cold-wave/post-punk duo Ostatnia Klatka have just released a debut album and started touring in Poland.
Freezing cold guitars, gloomy vocals, bass that could rearrange your room, synths straight from the 80s. We sing about living in Eastern European city, about our fears, about our lives.
That's what we wanted to say about ourselves, but tbh we would love to hear what YOU think about our first album. Your feedback would be much appreciated!
Here we picked some songs that are a good overview of our music, but we really encourage you to check the whole thing as it's quite diverse – and say a word or two what you think abuut it :).
Urobor – our goth side

Tlen – synth driven gloomy song

Przechodnie – inspired by Polish 80s rock classics

Uścisk – straight forward post-punk song with some heavier riffs in it
